Mostly recorded and released in 2010 right around Christine O'Donnell's infamous I'm Not a Witch commercial (www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxJyPsmEask) and also around the probable peak of the Witch Haus trend that was pretty malignant but people's reactions to a bunch of triangle band names was pretty good for like six months worth of jokes.
These are some burner basement jams that were on a micro-edition cassette (probably 5, at the very most 10) that were mostly passed around to blogs and radio stations.
It did wind up in the hands of Byron Coley, who reviewed it in Issue 324 (feb 2011) of The Wire. He said-
"Solid new tape from this Baltimore duo who I've heard some dronier work by in the past. This is more in free rock mode with squeedling electronics up top, something else that could very well be an electric guitar and what sounds like a live drum kit being whacked in a very positivist mode. Lotsa work for just four hands."
I am pretty sure we got this review before we ever played a show in our hometown, creating an aura of outside welcoming while locally ignoring.
